Hello I want to apply to both bigger and medium sized schools. So far I want to apply to University of Illinois, University of Wisconsin-Madison, Purdue University, Miami(OH) and possibly Drake, Marquette, or Loyola Chicago. What are some other schools in the midwest area similar to Marquette and Drake in size and academics?
Make sure you run the Net Price Calculators on each school’s web site. You’ve selected some out of state Public Us which don’t offer financial aid for OOS students. You would be expected to pay >$40K/year for those.
Are you interested more in urban, suburban or rural schools? What majors are you interested in? What other things are important to you (e.g. greek life, party scene, political leanings, etc)
Any setting works for me. I am interested in possibly accounting or finance.
I would apply to university of iowa. They have a great bschool at a big 10 school and if you don’t get into U of I or Wisconsin’s bschools, your gonna want to look elsewhere. Iowa gives direct admission to students with 26/27 act and 3.7 gpa, so I would def look into that. I made the mistake of putting iowa as my safety, and I ended up not even getting direct admit to iowa
I applied to both loyola and marquette as well, and loyola was pretty generous with scholarship $$ but marquette doesn’t give much (only got 9k/year)
I suggest applying to OSU, IU and DePaul as well
