Where to buy CHEAP textbooks?

Where is the best place to buy textbooks other than the expensive bookstore at school? Anyone have any good recommendations and is there time to buy books elsewhere before classes start?

Buy your textbooks online at Amazon, B&N, Half.com (Ebay).

Make sure you order them in a timely fashion so that they will arrive as soon as possible.

A new independent textbook store is opening this year (by Sherman & Clark I believe). I don't know how good of a deal it is, but surely nothing can be as bad as Norris.

Try http://www.getcheapbooks.com/ for used books.

http://www.nuonlinebooks.com

to find out what books you need ahead of time.

Be careful with that site; profs often like to be slick and change the required texts....

-God bless overpriced, unorganized monopolies!

Also, have a happy birthday tomorrow, uc_benz!

Haha, thank you. The big 1-9.
