Where to check in at orientation?

Hey guys. Orientation starts tomorrow, and I have received zero communication from UT via email. Am I supposed to check in at Jester or somewhere else? Thanks for any advice!

Jester. Once you get to Brazos garage, there will be Orientation Advisors everywhere to point the way.

@Brycifer THANK YOU. I’ve just been sitting in my hotel room panicking for hours. You’re a good soul

Also don’t forget to get a LOT of sleep. I got to Brazos at 7:30 and everything was super fast for me. There’s also a bunch of activities that run late into the night that you won’t want to miss!

@Brycifer I checked out the itinerary and was thoroughly excited to see “U-Tea time”. I definitely won’t be missing that

Oh, I was too. UT knows tea. Also, if you don’t already have a roommate, orientation is a great place to meet one. I was lucky and met some great guys that I’m sure I’ll be friends with for a long time. My favorite part was Texas Tonight - a stand up comedy show on the second day. Don’t miss it!

I believe that checkin is at Jester except for CNS, which is at Kinsolving. Each student should have received an email with instructions last week.

@Brycifer oh my, that sounds awesome ^.^ can’t miss that either. I hope I make some friends. That’s another reason I’m so nervous >.< thank you so much for the information and advice!!

@Austinwannabe I did not. I got an email last Thursday welcoming me to COLA, then nothing. I think I’ve figured out everything by now, though!

Should definitely still check your email, for any future readers. It will be in your spam 99.9990% of the time. There is other important info in there!

@Longhorns061012 it’s not there, either :frowning: I’ve been checking it every day for two weeks, spam and regular inbox. I think it got lost
