My lowest section is, of course, the reading comp, and I've heard that these are the best books for that section and writing. I was just wondering where I can find these books at an affordable price to complement my BB tests.'

Also, if you guys have any other recommendations for books, that would be great. Thanks

“Grammatix” was the name of Mike Barrett’s old test prep company.

I don’t know if his guide was ever actually entitled “Grammatix”.

There is a guide entitled “The Complete SAT and PSAT Strategy Guide” that was written by Mike Barrett, and I believe that is what people refer to as the “Grammatix” guide.

Google either the book title or “testingiseasy” (Mike’s current website). I don’t know if he still sells that guide, or if he is just doing video courses now.

FYI: Mike Barrett was apparently the “Mystery Tutor”. You can find the old MT videos on YouTube.

^^^ i know all of that, but I want to know where to buy them since they seem like they are out of print

^^^ Hmmm. Was it reading comp you have trouble with?

Did you Google the title of the book?

yes i did… i googled both “Rocketreview Revolution 2006-2007” and “the complete strategy guide to the PSAT and SAT” and both results yielded very expensive and out of print books, but I have heard that they are amazing

I can’t help you with Rocket Review. Your best bet is to search used book web sites like Abebooks. That title is likely available at a price not much greater than the original new price.

As for the other one, try again. You must not be looking past the inital Google results. Are you familiar with Adobe?

i found a pdf for the complete sat and psat strategy guide, is that correct? And also, the Rocketreview revolution is pretty cheap on abebooks. Thank you so much for your help.

rocketreview/grammatix pale in comparison to silverturtle

you can find a copy of grammatix online
Try your local library for Rocket Review
both books are only useful if you’re aiming for the 1800-2100 range. After 2100 you’ll have to just keep on doing practice tests.
