i know there are 2 ways to find the books/materials required for the courses.
1. bearfacts - schedule of classes - buy books (leads you to cal student store)
2. online schedule of classes - view books

do both sites have the most up to date version of the required texts we need?
also, anyone know how the rental thing works at the cal student store? is it where you pay them some amount of money to borrow a book and when you return it they refund you back the money?

i’m taking english r1a course, and the prof requires 2 books to read: Incidents in Life of Slave Girl and Confessions of Nat Turner & Related Documents. they didn’t specify what edition to buy so should i buy from the cal bookstore or can i buy from used from amazon if cheaper?
and if the used price from amazon and rental from cal are the same, which would you buy?
