<p>i finished the common app essay, but i cannot find tech's supplemental essays. i heard its opitional, but i think that pretty much means do it, so i was wondering if any of you guys could provide me w/ a link?</p>
<p>I’m pretty certain VT isn’t a common application school. The essays really are optional and if you do fill them out are supposed to be relatively short, but if I remember right they’re something like “what do you think you add to the school” or something like that. I didn’t do any of them, but it can’t hurt.</p>

<p>Our DD did one essay, I think if you do it remember to follow the rule of edit, edit and then edit again. Don’t just write an essay because you think it will help. Write and essay that actually does help you from an admission standpoint.</p>
<p>Nothing will hurt you more if your essay is riddled with grammatical errors…thus, edit, edit and edit again.</p>
