Where to get a part time job on campus?

I'm trying to get a part time job on campus. I've applied for a few with ASUCLA but both of them have been filled by the time I was able to actually go in and meet with someone for a possible interview. I sent in 2 more apps today.

I was wondering if there were any other departments (aside from ASUCLA) that are currently hiring students. If so, how do I figure out what jobs are available and where can I apply?

Work on film sets as an extra

Always looking for IM refs if you’re athletic. See Brian or Evan in the competitive sports office (2nd floor of Wooden) to apply.

You can always work in the dorms. I was a supervisor for Access Control, and I got paid pretty well. It’s not for everyone, though: 9PM to 5AM!

Look for jobs as at the library - there’s a ton of postings there usually, helps if you have work study. Then there’s computing labs… CLICC, PIC, SEAS.

There’s also computer labs on the hill near the dorms: [UCLA Office of Residential Life - Resident Learning Center Consultant](http://www.orl.ucla.edu/employment/rlcc). That job posting is for RLCC (requires you to have housing) and recruitment is over for it but you can submit your resume to be considered for LCC (which doesn’t have the housing requirement and they’re hired whenever the need comes up to fill the schedule). Pays pretty well imo.

Audio Visual Services! They’re located in Campbell Hall (the entrance facing Haines). You record lectures for BruinCast, super easy work and I think the starting pay now is $12/hour. Check with them toward the end of Spring quarter - they’ll usually put a “Now Hiring” banner out - to see if they’re hiring for fall.
