I’m planning to go to a Wed night hoops game at Clemson, and I’d like to experience the classic Clemson vibe. Where should I go for dinner before the game and for a craft beer after?
Esso Club before any sort of athletic event is a must. If you’re looking for good beer close by afterward, Backstreets (downtown) has the best selection in town, but you might run into the college crowd. If you don’t mind going a little ways out to avoid the downtown scene, there’s a beer garden in Pendleton

Then another spot I’d recommend is Tiger Town Tavern (TTT or Triple T’s). It’s right in the middle of downtown and is the quintessential Clemson bar
