I'm currently a sophomore at UC Berkeley, looking to transfer out. There are a lot of reasons, but mostly, the student population is too big. If you don't find a club/group of people/floormates/sorority to latch onto, you're just lost in the crowd. Also, I'm REALLY not digging all the red tape and the strong detachment from administrators and professors.
I'm having a rough time finding schools that fit what I'm looking for/capable of getting into. I'm interested in Environmental Studies, more focused on the social side of ES. I was also originally thinking about Int'l Relations/Studies.
I obvioulsy would like a smaller school, and preferably one with equal status to Berkeley. My GPA now is a 3.44 (I know I can do better, but shiza happens, and I've had 3 semesters full of it...), I'm actively involved in a Professional Fraternity, I have work experience, study abroad experience...
Brown and Tufts have always been in the back of my mind as "dream" schools, and I've been researching other possibilities, but I'm not sure...
If anyone has any suggestions for some schools, I'm all ears! Any thoughts/ideas would be great : )

Tufts would be a fabulous school for IR as it's the number-one ranked school for that in the country. Double-majoring in ES wold probably great, too. The ES dept. is not huge so you have a lot of one-on-one contact with professors, according to my former roommate who's a major in that dept. Lots of trips to do on-site research, etc.

If you want small, maybe private? USC?
