There are a number of state universities that have strong environmental science/environmental studies program: Univ of Oregon, Univ of Maine, Univ of Vermont, to name just a few.

What are your preferences as to school size, location, urban/rural, Greek scene, sports, etc. With more information, people could give you better guidance.

I think I want to go to a small liberal arts college. As far as Greek life goes I probably won't be joining but do not mind the Greek system as long as it doesn't hold a social monopoly over the school. I am looking at west and east coast schools and trying to refrain from midwestern schools. As far as location I don't think I'll mind an isolated school (I was recently at Whitman and loved it) as long as there is enough to do on campus.
