<p>I guess the time is upon me to start looking more closely at colleges, but having read some threads here at CC I'm feeling less confident about my chances at higher tier schools, as it seems that most people have fascinating and outstanding extracurricular activities and yet at only given a mediocre chance.</p>
<p>My grades and SAT scores are high, but my extracurricular activities are weak. I've joined my share of clubs, being active but never taking on leadership positions. I suppose my "best" extracurricular was interning in a lab for two summers. </p>
<p>I figure I have a good chance at getting into UC Berkeley (instate), but besides that I'm lost. I would appreciate it if you guys could tell me some other schools that may be more stat oriented.</p>
