My parents told me I have to make a decision by thursday. It's between Michigan-LSA(undecided), Purdue-Engineering(freshman engineering), and Miami University OH-College of Arts and Sciences. I am an OH resident but cost is not a major concern but I am considering it as a minor factor in my decision. I'm not positive what I would like to major in but the majors I'm interested are the sciences, engineering, business, or possibly pre-med or pre-law. In other words, pretty much anything. I'm also in the scholars program at Miami and am being considered for honors at UofM... Any suggestions? Pros and Cons?

MICHIGAN BABY!!!!!!!! Nowhere else will you get such an amazing combination of a strong education (the majority of Michigan's LSA Programs are Top-10, with plenty in the Top-5) and amazing college experience (nothing compares to Big Ten sports). Going to need Alexandre to come in and convert another person =)

Ajc, if cost is not a concern, I would recommend Michigan. It really is a notch above the others in terms of academics and overall quality of life. I hear great things about Miami too, but it just doesn't have Michigan-type options.

You're simliar to me. I'm betwen Mich LSA and Cornell Engineering. Still open to doing pre-med, pre-law, engineering, or business.

Cost is a little bit of a concern to me though. Without that, I'm almost sure I'd head to Cornell. But I think I'll still have a great time at Michigan.

Dsmo, you cannot compare Purdue and Miami to Cornell! Cornell is one of the top 15 universities in the land...as good as Michigan in many ways (better in some, worse in others).

I think he was comparing cornells engineering to purdues. And I believe Purdue is ranked higher in engineering. Also very high in business.
