where to go?

hello,
i have been accepted to the following schools:
Miami University - Oxford
DePaul University
Indiana University - Bloomington
Loyola University of Chicago
University of Illinois - Chicago
i was waitlisted at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign
I am having trouble making a decision. I want to study either business or economics. I think i have eliminated Loyola and UIC from the list because i have no interest in either school. I honestly want to stay in chicago; i love the city and i love depauls campus. However, my mom is really pushing me to go to either Indiana or Miami. I know both of these are much better academically compared to Depaul. Yet, I am having trouble deciding. I dont think i would be happy outside of chicago. I prefer being close to home. I still have to visit both indiana and miami so maybe that will help me decide. But in the meantime, does anyone have any thoughts on what i should do?

Also, i forgot to add that i really want to transfer to either Northwestern or UChicago after a year or two. Should that affect my decision of where i should go for my freshman year?
thanks in advance....

bump bump bump

as far as i know, those are all really good universities. The only one I really know anything about is Indiana-- my mom went there and loved it. People tend to like it a lot, and it's a good university, so you might want to think about that one. As far as I know, the university you attend freshman year shouldnt have a huge effect on your transfer. And northwestern is a good school-- im actually choosing between Northwestern and Tufts, so any advice would be helpful.

I would go for Indiana-Bloomington.

why indiana?
anyone else have an opinion? thanks...

I have a friend who goes to Depaul and absolutely loves it!

Depaul is fine--if you stay in Chicago for work. Otherwise Indiana.

Indiana because it has the best academics and the best environment. But if you feel that you would be unhappy outside of Chicago, go for DePaul.
