<p>For Current UT students, what is the best place (locations, apartment complexes etc.) to live in Austin while attending UT?</p>

<p>Girls: 1) Hardin House
2) Scottish Rite</p>
<p>Not close are:
3) Towers, San Jac, Kinsolving (majority of AEPhi's [top jewish sorority] stay at towers)
4) Dobie</p>
<p>Guys: 1) Towers</p>
<p>distant, distant 2nd
2) San Jac

<p>sophmore year and on:
Villas at San Gabriel and Guadalupe are probably the most popular and the best.
Some other great ones are Texan Tower, The Texan, Sterling, Quarters, Boardwalk, and basically any of the newly constructed apartment complexes.
Also, if you rent a really nice house close to campus with lots of friends, that's a good idea too.</p>
