Hi,
I'm a junior and I'm leaving tomorrow to do my first college visits. I was just wondering where I might be able practice while I'm away? Will hotels or the schools themselves (CIM and Oberlin) let me there?
I'm sure there are threads on here but since I'm not going to be auditioning I didn't know if there would be different policies.
Thanks!

Oberlin has many practice rooms and a good portion of them are not locked. Most of them even have decent pianos in them. Anyone can use them when they are not occupied. I don’t think you would have much trouble finding one that you could use unless perhaps it was right before juries near the end of the school year. If a student kicks you out of the one you are in, you will probably be able to find another empty one just down the hall.
