Are there any places that let you print papers and stuff for free anywhere on campus? Thanks.

There are some offices that do have free printing, but I just go to one of the libraries and print what I need if it requires a lot of printing. 8 cents per page isn’t too bad

I heard from someone that, for your UCI id, you can print up to 200 pages in the campus Libraries per year? (per quarter sounds like too much) and it comes with it when you paid for your tuition.

^ false. it charges what junshik said. 8 cents per page i believe.
maybe at a private school they’ll do that. definitely not here!

False indeed. I wish that was true. My friend had a similar deal though (about 200 pgs per year for free with her ID card) but that was because she was in the excellence hall for psychology or something, I dunno. It’s definitely not for everyone.

You can buy a small printer for $50 or less.

Yes but you pay for it in cartridges!

How exactly do you print stuff out at the libraries? Sorry, I’ve never done it before, so I’m clueless.

thats why you keep buying more printers and use the ink cartridge that comes in it…

you need to but some money on your student ID card. when you tell a computer to print, you have to go to the printer and swipe the card. then it will let you print and will bill you. (or maybe you select your print, then swipe…) just go to the library and ask for help if you need.

Here is how you print:

(e.g.)
0. Go to one of those add-stations, and put in money in your card.
- go to a computer and open up the document.
- select print
- window pops up: asking for a name for the document
- go to printer
- swipe your ID
- input the name for the document
- printtttttttttttttt success!

Ahaha, I printed something out for the first time. It took me like a trillion tries to correctly swipe the card. =__=

If you live in Mesa Court, you can go to the community center and print for 5 cents per page. But I think they only accept cash.
