Where to put Head Boy-Student Council President

<p>Hey, I'm applying from an international school and I'm Head Boy of that school. Head Boy is basically the British equivalent of Valedictorian and Student Council President combined. The difference is that I was nominated and chosen by faculty based on academic and extracurricular merit instead of being elected and I have a wide range of responsibilities-more so than a Valedictorian would.</p>

<p>My question is that should I list being Head Boy under the "Activities" section int the Common App or under the "Honors" section?</p>

<p>I would put it in the honors section also. You may want to explain it a bit.</p>

<p>Sounds like honors, and you would ask your counselor to explain this in his recommendation letter.</p>
