Where to put "honors" courses

Hey, I'm transferring from pierce college -- they have an Honors program

Where do I state that a class is honors or not on the UC app?

Thanks in advance for the help!

all u do is type in the classes that u took…it should just say CCCT and then they will know is honors

I didn’t even have to type mine, just go to Add Coursework and click the “+” next to the name of your college and find your courses that way…it was faster.

hmmm I understand how to add a course but It still doesn’t differentiate them from the non-honors courses

Also, all my classes say “ccct” beside them ><

My scholars (honors) counselor told me to put “(Scholars)” next to the course title. In the extra comments section, mention that you’re in the Scholars program and that you’ve designated the given courses by the “(Scholars)” label (or “S” or whatever you wanna put). Yeah, they’ll know after your school sends in your TAP forms and everything, but it doesn’t hurt to reassure them, right? Haha.

Thanks ill do that :]

Also, for you pierce students – would you write honors contract classes as “honors” courses? What about future honors contract classes?

honors contracted classes are still regular classes

but the honors counselor here stated that the honors contract courses will show up on transcripts as “honors classes”

^ It will, but they don’t receive your transcript until after you’re accepted.

that’s why u state that ur in the honors pogram in the EC or awards section…

That, too. Hahaha.

i just mentioned that i was in the honors program and when i got into it in the additional comments section and that a couple of my classes were honors each quarter…hope it doesn’t matter that i didn’t delineate…though i doubt it would since all my grades are A’s and they’re all ge’s since i took my major pre-reqs before i got into the honors program…
