I like ~5000 others out there got deferred from EA at MIT and I'm not terribly surprised. While I wrote all my essays about my fondness for mathematics, I failed to show any true achievements in this area outside of my grades. In order to get my odds somewhere above the single digits, I thought I would send in a copy of one of my fairly random extensive math proofs. So I pulled out one I deemed to be the most indicative of my ability, transcribed it in the beauty of Mathematica, and printed it out in all of its glory. After hours of searching I've failed to find any proper instructions though on how to send this material in. Do I just mail it to their admissions office with a little blurb identifying myself and the point of the paper, transport it via carrier pigeon, or some mysterious third option which may or may not involve psychic powers?

I think you mail it to the admissions office, the address should be at the bottom of all of their admissions website pages

oh and make sure you have name and bday on all papers

I vote for carrier pigeon – if you give him a little MIT sweater and scarf, he can double as supplemental material! :D

The address is indeed at the bottom of the admissions office website.
