Hey,
I need help on where to begin studying. I took my first practice sat yesterday and got a 1900. I got somewhere around 650 for each section. I think im lacking in the CR the most. Anyways here is list of all the books I bought: BB, Grubers, Rocketreview, Maximum SAT, PR, and grammatrix.

My question is how do I begin studying? should I finish one book first then go on to the next one? Should i study one section at a time?

What I found really beneficial for me was doing the Barron's orange book, because Barron's is considered to be the hardest SAT prep book. After I finished doing all the practice in there, I moved on to other books, like the blue book, Kaplan, Princeton Review, etc. After doing Barron's, these tests were REALLY easy and allowed me to get better scores.

Also, everyone really recommends "Direct Hits" for vocabulary. I'm planning on going out and getting it sometime this week, so I don't know personally, but I do hear great things

i heard barrons is alright, but i wanna use what i have now. im thinking of starting with grubers and finishing it and then rocketreview. Ill leave maximum sat and grammatrix till the end since they use the BB and give mainly strategies

^ I recommend purchasing some old PSATs from the College Board Store. They are a very valuable resource and only cost $3.00 each. Grammatrix helped me understand how to identify wrong critical reading answers. Direct Hits is clearly the best performing vocabulary book. (It is not available in stores but can be purchased on Amazon). I would supplement DH with the Core Words list in Rocket Review. I have always liked the Princeton Review math tips. Hope this helps. Good luck!

hmm so i have 8 practice test right now, how many more official tests are available? I also heard DH vocab is good. But what I really need help with is how should i start? do you all pretty much recommend sticking to one book at a time?

Well I did start with Princeton Review - especially the math. Then I read selective sections of Rocket Review. I recommend studying some vocab each day. Repetition is very important.
