<p>What are the best books to study grammar, writing and CR from? Also, where can I learn to write better essays with good supporting details? Should I use prep books or are there school textbooks that I would be better off buying?</p>

<p>For grammar, definitely a high school grammar text. Actually, my 8th grade grammar book was the best one I had. They assume you know it all by senior high, and now we just focus on literature!</p>
