Where to submit personal statement?

I am interested in applying to UoP’s pharmacy program, and got an invitation to their Pacific Scholar Application. Is there an advantage to applying through this instead of the Common App?

Also, I noticed that the Pacific Scholar Application gives a space to submit a 250-500 word personal statement, whereas the Common app does not. Does anyone know how to submit this personal statement if I decide to apply through the Common App?

I think it would be best if you apply using the pacific app. It will just be a lot easier for you.
