Hi,
I am a highschool student and want to take precalculas online so I can take AP Calculas next year. I’ve been looking online but don’t know what to choose. Do any of you know where I can take precalc online for highschool credit?
Thanks,

What grade are you in? What do you want to do in college?
If you are going to be a junior next year or don’t plan on going into stem, then I, personally, would take precalculus in a regular high school setting.
I’m thinking of going into STEM and I am a junior in highschool.
It’s not a bad idea to take precalc online and then retake it in a classroom setting. I think that’s a great strategy for hard courses in general, ones that are foundation courses.
If that is your plan, then I found a good course on Coursera. You can take the course for free (or you could) if you don’t ask for a certificate. If you do want a certificate, you need to pay. If they don’t have one at a convenient time, then try the other MOOCs–you can google for a list of them. Also some universities put their courses online for free. MIT for example, Harvard and Yale. check their websites, although many distribute the courses through places like Coursera.
Khan Academy will also have the skills for precalc, and that’s free. You may want to see how they organize the material.
Best of luck to you.
