Hi everybody!
So here is my situation: I want to transfer from my current CC in Florida. I've been looking to moving to NY these last couple of years, because I always wanted to study and live there. I would love to attend NYU, but I still haven't met their transfer requirements, and it is well expensive, besides city costs. So now I am somewhat confused as to what to do.
I'm in my sophomore year, and my GPA is 4.0. I've been looking into CUNY as an alternative to NYU, which will allow me to start this upcoming fall (most univeristies deadlines for Fall 2008 are now in March, if not earlier, and I won't be able to apply on time). But I am not sure if it is worth the money to go to CUNY (again, NY is expensive and I will still need a small loan to attend CUNY since I would be an out-of-state student).
Should I wait until next year and try to transfer to a better university (I've been looking into UC Berkeley, Univ. of Michigan), move to NY and attend CUNY, or stay in Florida and go to University of Florida/University of Miami? (their business schools are ranked 40 something in Business Week - I haven't seen CUNY in them).
What do you guys think? Thanks for your opinion!

Since money is a concern, UCB and UMichigan are pretty expensive choices. COA is 45k & 40K, respectively, for OOS students; and you're not likely to get very good FA.

I would suggest go to cuny. cause its the cheapest one out of all of them.

i think staying in florida is your best option
and you could always get that mba from nyu later on :)

UF is a great school and a lot of fun. My brother (and the rest of everyone I went to high school with) is a student and loves it
