I am a transfer student admitted to Washington University in St. Louis (Olin School of Business), University of Virginia (McIntire School of Commerce) and New York University (Stern). I cannot make a decision on which school to attend. Can anyone of you give me some advice?

I think ultimately you have to go where you'll be happiest. My choices were between UVA, WashU, NYU, and UNC. I've chosen UVA. But one difference in my case is that I applied to econ at NYU. Had I applied to Stern and been accepted, my decision would've been a lot harder. I can't say what my decision would've been because honestly, I don't know. Unless you really love WashU, I'd probably suggest deciding between UVA and NYU. I believe that both are held in higher regards in the business world. However, if you want to work in the midwest after graduation, WashU probably would be as good of an option as the other two, or at least, the difference would probably be negligible.

Hope that helps.

Stern, because of the opportunities of being in the business capital of the world.

Second, that...def. go with Stern (once in a lifetime opportunity, take it you fool!)

Eric, if you get this message, could you please send me an email at magnumxlv@gmail.com or AIM me at magnumxlv? I'm attempting to transfer to a business program next year, and Stern is one of my top choices. All the statistics involving transferring into top business programs are very discouraging, and it would mean a lot if you could help me with some questions. Thanks.

It depends on your career goals. If you want to go onto investment banking, I'd say NYU, then UVA, then WashU.

Personally, I'd go with NYU.

I would say NYU too, unless you really like one of the others more.
