Where were you accepted, wait listed and rejected? (Class of 2018)

Hi guys! So now that most decisions are out, I'm curious where people got accepted, waitlisted and rejected from!! I guess you can just list them, and add any information if you feel that its necessary =)
Congrats to everyone!

So here's where I got in:
Haverford
Wesleyan
Brandeis
Gettysburg (safety)
St. Lawrence (safety)
SUNY Binghamton (safety) - I got into the Scholars Program and Freshman year research program
SUNY Geneseo (safety) - I'm going to hear from the Davidson Fellows (Honor Program) soon
SUNY Stony Brook (safety) - I got into the Honors Program

Waitlisted:
Swarthmore (very surprised since its more selective the schools I got rejected from - though obviously not by much, only like 4%)
Cornell

Rejected:
Tufts (I'm pretty disappointed. Tufts was one of my top choices and I thought this was one of my strongest applications regarding the supplement essays and interview)
Williams (I'm not surprised - I never had the chance to get an interview and that makes a difference)

Thinking about it now, I applied to a load of schools that I knew I would have a pretty big change of getting accepted to. Overall though I'm happy with where I got accepted and will most likely end up at either Haverford or Wesleyan (or possibly Geneseo because if I get into the honors program I would get a scholarship - though I get enough need based aid to allow me to attend a private school paying only a few thousand more a year than a SUNY school). Its going to be a tough decision to make!

I think the last thread like this was moved or deleted, but I want to play. This kind of info interests me as well. Can we just list GPA and scores for rough chances?

3.94/4.21 and 33/2240

UC Davis - in
UC Irvine - in
UC Los Angeles - in
UC Berkeley - in (Spring)
UC San Diego - in
USC - in

UChicago - waitlist

BU - no (lol…)
Cornell - no
Brown - no
Harvard - no

No. Williams only offers “interviews” during the summer before an applicant’s senior year; they are informative only and have no bearing on the admissions decision. From the Williams website:

“While we are happy to speak with rising high school seniors during the summer, such conversations are entirely non-evaluative and play absolutely no part in our admission decisions. To learn more about scheduling time to speak with an admission officer, please contact…”

The most recently available Williams Common Data Set (2012-2013) indicated that interviews are “Not Considered” in the admissions decision.

Your rejection from Williams had nothing to do with the fact that you didn’t have a Williams interview.

Results threads, etc. are on the HSL forum.
