Where would you rather study/do homework?

<p>if it's lighter library heavy dorm room, less distractions</p>

<p>If it's light studying, my dorm room. If it's heavy, serious studying, then I head to the library. There are just too many distractions in my room, like TV, PC, reminders of random things to do that I could use to put off studying. I don't get distracted easily in the library unless I'm with a friend who, then I talk and don't work. There is no perfect place short of a single jail cell, so you just have to stay focused.</p>

<p>It's a lot more convenient to study at my own place, but realistically if I have some heavy duty stuff to do, I should be at the library.</p>

<p>Library .. it's more fun & when you take breaks you can look at all the books</p>

<p>The exception is if you're writing a personal essay or practicing a speech for a language class. It's embarassing to ramble in a foreign language in front of strangers.</p>

<p>For some reason I can't do work in my room...too many distractions with my computer and friends around. If it's something like studying/reading, I'll go to the library because it's the most quiet. If it's something like a paper and I need my laptop, I work in the lounge in my dorm because I can't get internet access...</p>

<p>i would say library because in your dorm room it could be more distracting and noisier.</p>

<p>Usually I go study in my friends' rooms. Less distractions than my own room. More convenient than the library. And besides, with friends, you are easily peer pressured into working. =D.</p>

<p>In my room and at my desk, completely alone.
Our library can be somewhat of a social environment with people answering phones, chatting, and making rackets so it is actually very distracting.</p>
