ED Brown students from a neighboring city have already booked their interview dates, but I haven’t received any sort of email/call yet. Omg this is freaking me out.

How will having no interview effect my chances!?!

Just keep waiting, because they just might need to find a volunteer in your area.

And according to my interviewer, the interview procses for about 80-90% of the candidates merely confirms the decision they already made. So it might not effect your app too much. shrugs

Check your bulk/junk email folder, check your application to make sure email was entered properly...other than that, just hang out and don't worry about it. People don't necessarily get interviews

My friend is waiting too. They told her that due to the holiday season, mnay of the interviewers were unavailable.....so to just hang tight for a bit.

when i asked them about interviews, they answered:

Interviews are recommended but not required. Once your application has been received, an alumnus/a in your area is contacted. Where possible, this applies to international applicants as well. He or she will then contact you and, if you so desire, arrange a time and place to conduct an interview. Although we try to reach all of our applicants, we are not always able to do so due to the nature and demographics of this all-volunteer organization. Please keep in mind that it will not negatively affect your application if you do not meet with one of our alumni volunteers. As of the 2003-2004 academic year, we no longer offer on-campus interviews.
