I'm applying EA. wheeee.

Did anyone else apply EA, and does anyone know what the notification date is?

I did! They emailed me and said mid-December, but the official date is Dec. 31.

Phew, I thought I was the only person here. :) Yeah, they emailed me with username and password. The email itself said late-December, but the website says mid-December.

About 33 more days 'til mid-December.

I know they're going full steam ahead on them right now. Word on the street was ~450 apps for EA; best of luck to you all

g

How many do they admit EA vs. regular action?

someone told me like 18% acceptance for EA.

That's 81 people. Amrik, got your fingers crossed?

I've crossed my finger vectors.

Using Green's Theorem, find the area under your finger vectors and then using chances of probabily with mean 50, using double integrals, find the probably that both are perfectly crossed (mu = 50).

Let's do what the MIT fellas are doing and...
user name, SAT/ACT, SAT I Science, SAT I Math, SAT I Writing/Lit/Other, what are you doing right now (I know we all can multitask)

I'll start: anijen21, 35, 730, 740, 800, In study hall trying to divert the monitor's attention

Oh man.

Tencia, 1560, Ph 790, IIC 800, W 800, responding on this forum before going to bed and I have a massive weekly math quiz and tomorrow is the last day before Thanksgiving which is why I have it then instead of Friday.

al0, 1600, Chem 800, IIC 800, Writing 800

Is there anyway we can check online about our status (in/out)?

Hah I wish.

indeed . . . So what was the consensus about the actual (vis-a-vis theoretical/official) date for acceptance/rejections letters?

I believe the EA acceptance rate is MUCH higher than 18% (almost twice 18%).

Decisions have been made. Now we wait!

Rant: international students are not allowed to send ED applications to either CalTech or MIT..

I believe Amrik is international.
