Whether to send a music supplement at certain schools..

Hi everyone! So I am an incoming senior. I have a list of schools, most of my standardized testing done, and my essay written. Now I'm on to worrying about a music supplement, wooho!
My parents, teacher, and conductors are saying I should do a music supplement on Violin. I'm just unsure whether it will help my chances, at all and I know that kinda depends on the school, really. I've played for 7 years and I've been first chair of my school orchestra every year. I take private lessons. And I've also been a part of a youth orchestra at new england conservatory for the past 4 years. I also play in the pit orchestra at my school!

I'm applying to these schools:

William and Mary
UVA
Bates
Colgate
Carleton
Hamilton
Brown
Kenyon
University of Rochester
Dickinson
Case Western
UMASS Amherst

I know I'm not going to send one to Rochester because they have Eastman and definitely wouldn't be impressed with my non-prodigy skills :P But, other than that does anyone know if a music supplement would benefit me? And can doing a supplement ever harm your chances?
Thanks in advance!!
