<p>Hi, I'm a freshman at Hamilton College and after six weeks here, I really don't like it much. My classes are great; the social scene and the distance from home are the reasons why I am considering transferring, either for the spring semester or next fall. However, I really do want to give Hamilton a fair chance. I was just wondering if anyone had any advice on whether my reasons for transferring are good enough, and what schools I should be looking at. If I end up transferring, I would want to go to a school (preferably a LAC) within a 3 hour drive (at the very most) from Northern NJ. So far, I am considering Drew (which I got into last spring as a freshman applicant) and Lafayette. Any advice/suggestions?</p>
