Most often, I used "Robinson Crusoe" by Daniel Defoe, "Harry Potter" by J.K.Rowling, Abraham Lincohn and "Beowulf" in my practice writings. Some of the examples I cited seem a little bit "forced" though</p>
<p>civil rights movement, the great gatsby, 1984</p>
<p>Huck Finn- Used twice on my 12 essays. </p>
<p>Historical- Usually American History... </p>
<p>I always give two examples per essay.</p>
<p>I usually use 1 example from literature, 1 from history</p>
<p>literature--Great Gatsby, To Kill A Mockingbird, Grapes of Wrath, Macbeth
History-Big events in US History, usually a war (Civil,Revolutionary,WWI/II) or an important decade/movement (1920s, Civil Rights)</p>
