I took the ACT twice: once in April, the other in September. They are both the same composite (29), but my individual scores are all over the place. I don’t think I want to send in both because it’ll be difficult paying double when I’m already sending them to multiple colleges. Also, I am planning to go into the science field (pre-dentistry).
Since I’m planning in going into the science field, I would assume to send the April score but the 32 on my September math is making me unsure. Any advice would be great, thanks!
If you can send both do so. Some colleges superscore the ACT, meaning they use the highest section scores from the combined tests. The others will use that test they believe is the better for you.
If I had to choose only one it would be the second one with the 30 English and 32 math. There are a lot of colleges that consider the math and English scores to be your most important section scores. That you are going into science does not mean they will give more weight to your science score as many engineering and science programs consider the math to be the most important section score.
