Which ACT score should I send? Which one is better?

In other words, how much will the writing score matter? Also, do subscores matter and will colleges take into account that I was one question away from a 34 if I send the April test?

I say no question send the higher composite.

Go with the 33. Colleges are more concerned about THEIR stats than they are about YOUR stats.

Unfortunately, I highly doubt colleges care that you were one question away from C34. You never see colleges publish ACT scores in their Freshman Profiles or marketing material like C33.25.

They just publish C33.

I agree that C32.5 and C33.25 are not the same. But since you don’t see that differenciation in their marketing material, it’s hard to believe colleges care a lot about the difference.

But you should consult with the colleges directly to confirm.
