WHICH ACT score should I use?! :/

Applying to: University of Southern California, New York University, Northwestern University, Carnegie Mellon University, UCLA, SUNY Purchase, Temple University, CalArts, Columbia College Chicago, University of Wisconsin-Madison

*don't think these two will care about my ACT score but whatev

Common app as well as most of the other schools' own apps only ask for three scores. Now, my highest subscores are all from the last three times I took it, so I figured that would work. But for the last three times, my score dropped a point and stayed there... would it look better if I included my first ACT score to show how much my score has changed? But if I include that score, they'll see my writing score rise and fall... MEH. Any advice?

Statewide testing for all Illinois juniors -- will this matter?

How much money do you have to spend on this? If you could, you might as well send all three, just in case they decide to superscore you. If not, just send the 31.

SHOOT I FORGOT TO MENTION THE SCHOOLS I SENT THE FREE SCORE REPORTS TO.

27: USC, Northwestern, UCLA (I don’t know why I didn’t do a fourth)
31: USC, Northwestern, Carnegie Mellon, UCLA
first 30: NONE, school didn’t give us the option :frowning:
second 30: USC, Northwestern, Carnegie Mellon, UCLA

So heh, I guess I’ve already sent three scores to my top three schools… but should I send the first 30 as well??

I don’t plan on sending my ACT scores to Columbia because it’s open admissions and they don’t require them.

Take it again!

Truthfully, I’d rather die.

i would send in the 31 because it has the highest writing grade and has the highest science and english/writing combined scores.
