Which ACT score to send?

Let's say you have taken ACT thrice and scores are 28, 29 and 30; College is not specifically requesting to send all scores. Is it ok to send only highest score? as they are going to use highest score anyway?

If you only send one score, can they think that student hasn't tried enough to improve his/her score which can go against you or they know even if you have taken multiple times, you may not send all scores.

The high one. I can’t imagine a college thinks “trying to improve a score” is an effort that makes you a more attractive candidate. If anything, the opposite. If they don’t ask for all of them just send the highest (unless they superscore and one of the subscores on the lower tests is higher than one on the 30).

Test scores are not analogous to showing improvement in grades, colleges just want to see a high score. If the school permits Score Choice, then just send the best score.

I would suggest sending your highest score and any test with the highest subscore. DD did this and was admitted ED to her first choice which did not superscore the ACT. Admins will see the higher subscores. Even if they do not superscore, the impression will be made. Almost universally colleges want to give applicants the benefit of the doubt. Good luck to you.
