Which ACT scores to send?

Hi there! I am going to be applying to schools with low-acceptance rates. Not figuring in any other factors, I was just wondering what ACT scores I should send with my application. My scores are as follows:

ACT #1
Comp: 32
Eng: 35
Math: 27
Reading: 34
Science: 31
Combined Writing: 31

or

ACT #2
Comp: 32
Eng: 32
Math: 29
Reading: 35
Science: 30
Combined Writing: 29

Both composite scores are the same, but should I showcase higher individual scores as in #1 or more balanced all around scores in #2. My weakness is obviosuly math, so do I go with the 27 and better other things (#1) or the 29 and the lesser other things (#2). This is assuming almost every college only takes individual score reports not mix/match the highest. Thank you so much!

As you note, if the schools superscore, send both.

Otherwise, it’s difficult. Some schools want balance, others may not care. If, say, you’re going to be a creative writing major, the math may matter less. However, this answer may be school specific, and to be honest, most won’t tell you what they consider important. Probably a GC question.

Thanks. On the common app you self report your own “superscores” but none of the colleges I am applying to take superscore reports from ACT itself. I was thinking go with the one higher in Writing which would be #1 but I do want to go into medical/biological science.
