Which ACT test score should I submit?

I am at a dilemma with the scores I should be submitting. I am going into engineering, and I would like to know which of these scores would give me a better chance. Is it better to have the scores spread evenly, or to have one score group, such as mathematics, dominate over the others?

April 2014
Composite 32

English 35
Math 34
Reading 28
Science 29
Combined E/W 33
Writing 10

OR

February 2014
Composite 32

English 33
Math 31
Reading 31
Science 31
Combined E/W 30
Writing 8

Any help would be appreciated.

april 2014 where the English and Math are significantly better than the scores in Feb 2014.

April 2014. Much better writing and impressive math and english

Unless you HAVE to pick only one test I would recommend submitting them both. Even if a school doesn’t superscore, admissions will see your highest score in each section. And if they do superscore you have a 33. Seems like you can’t lose submitting them both. Do you have a math 2 to submit or other subject tests?

Yes, I have a 760 Physics and 650 Math 2. Hope 650 is not too horrible…

I agree if you have to pick one test definitely pick the April test by the way.

You absolutely should submit the 760 physics if you are applying to an engineering school which I am sure you know and are planning to do. Ideally you would retake math 2 for a better score or take another subject test and hope for 700+ if at all possible? At least that 34 in math looks good but depending on where you want to apply that 650 could definitely be a problem especially since it isn’t really “necessary” at most schools to submit a subject test with ACT/writing.

I am interested to hear what others have to say about subject test submission when submitting the ACT/writing (when no subject tests are required)- is it okay to submit just one subject test or do adcoms want to see at least 2 scores if you are bothering to submit one?
