Hi, for the question in the title of the thread that's on the columbia app., i'm kind of debating what I should write. My actual essay basically goes in great depth about the activity that I am most commited to. So, should I still talk about this activity in the short-answer part, or just pick another activity? Hope that makes sense, thanks.

It seems like you could take one of two approaches: either answer the question directly as asked, and describe the same activity you used in the essay, or you could take a different approach to bring out another activity, e.g., "After volunteering at the homeless waterfowl shelter (described in my essay), my most important activity is..."

It's a bit riskier, since you aren't answering the question as asked, but if you feel it will bring out another side of you perhaps it's worth a try.

Yea I think I'm just going to talk about another activity...thank you.
