Which additional major to get 150 hours?

The consensus seems to be that the MAcc is useless if you want to work for one of the Big Four (my goal), so I am trying to get those 150 hours by picking up another major. I have accounting and German so far. The German is unrelated, but the point of me taking it is to better my German and learn more about my culture, plus I get to pick up some extra hours.

Finance and MIS seem to be the best choices. I would only have to take three more classes to get the finance degree, but am worried about the math, which is one of my weak points.

Any help or tips would be appreciated. Thank you in advance :)

You don’t necessarily have to take elective-caliber classes to fulfill the 150. I would advise you to steer away from a triple major and just take classes that seem interesting to you.

Obviously you want to take the CPA exam because you want to work for a top 4. Doesn’t your state have requirements that must be met to sit for the CPA exam? Shouldn’t this dictate what courses you take?

Morrismm, I will still need more hours after meeting all of the requirements to sit for the CPA. I think I may just take some random classes that interest me.

Good idea.
