When sending high school transcripts to colleges, is it necessary to send them to the admissions address, or is it alright to send them to the general college address? I cannot send them electronically as I have already graduated, and I’ve addressed all my envelopes using the general address and not the admissions specific address. Is it necessary to change it?
change to admissions office. You’re only asking for trouble otherwise. Simply cross it off the incorrect info and add “Admissions ofc” and address.
This isn’t hard to do –
I believe the Common App lists the mailing address for each school. Even if you’re not logged in to that site and using it for applying, I believe you can access the part of the site that searches for schools and gives basic information like that.
www.google.com can get it too! hahahah
If there is any doubt after checking online, then call admissions and find out for certain.
