<p>So I sent an email to a number of Universities and colleges regarding the transfer thing and Middlebury College has sent me a reply saying that I can apply as a freshman. I am guessing now that every school (or atleast every LAC) will allow me to apply as a freshman. </p>
<p>I forgot to mention earlier but in Indian Universities, you don’t get anything (a transcript or any record) if you drop out before you complete the course. So basically, I won’t have any proof of attending the University of Delhi. That is probably why they’re allowing me to apply as a freshman. Good for me :D</p>
<p>What Middlebury told you is true for Middlebury. You have to ask each place separately. Do not assume anything. Ask each of them. That is the only way to know.</p>
