I’m looking to take 1 extra AP exam for this upcoming exam season.
I will NOT be taking any course - this is ENTIRELY self-study based, though I will have prep books and online websites to my disposal. Just no formal instruction.
My options are:
Psychology
Microeconomics
Macroeconomics
Human Geography
I have now until May to prepare, and I plan to study. I’m mostly science/math centered, so I’d prefer something that was more logic based, though I can memorize concepts well.
I’ve heard that Human Geography is the easiest, but I’ve also read that Psychology can be done just by cramming some prep book. I have no idea if Microeconomics and Macroeconomics are one exam or two…I’ve heard the term AP Economics and I’m wondering which one to take, if they’re separate.
Obviously my biggest priority here is which one is easiest to get a 5 on.
Self-studying TIME isn’t too much an issue; if I need to study 20% more for an easier to get 5, then I’m fine.
Does anyone have any tips?
Right now I’m thinking about Human Geo as it seems easy, though Economics seems most helpful to my college major, whereas Psychology seems inherently interesting.
Finally, does anyone know what % of students get 5s on those APs? Any tips or recommendations? If you’ve taken these before with or without self-study, please let me know how it went!
Thanks!
