<p>If two students are applying to many of the same schools, which one would a school pick? The brainy, genius one with no EC but phenomenal SATs in 8th grade, or the B+ student with lots of ECs and good scores?</p>

<p>OPTION 2!!! i wrote something like this in one of my essays lol it was utter crap and i wrote it in like 3 hrs before the deadline lol</p>

<p>Both of them…they probably have the same work ethic and are likely to fit in equally well. Also if one is too busy, it’s not the end of the world if he doesn’t have enough EC’s.</p>

<p>lol regarding option 2, exactly how many ppl do u think there are that are applying that have extradionary ecs? alot alot alot. So just saying, try to stand out =) contact caoches, art teachers, and ec.</p>
