Which APs are offered at your school?

None :stuck_out_tongue:
I’ve heard that our classes are as hard as AP classes, but they’re not certified or whatever. On our transcripts they appear as honors courses.
I might self study a few APs… I guess I’ll see though. I feel like I’m at a huge disadvantage compared to the people taking 10+ APs.
Sigh. Tis the plight of a small private school student, I suppose.

There’s a lot of other languages, college classes, and honors classes. I know 22 may seem like a lot, but my school has the schedule set up in a way so it’s kind of difficult to take more than 12 unless you self study. The requirements to graduate and the period structure complicate the scheduling process.

I am personally taking about 10 of those classes.

27… wish I could take them all

At my son’s small-ish private prep school, I think they offer 6 or 7…but kids end up taking a few more than that if they’re so inclined since the level of “regular” classes is pretty high. It amazes me that kids today graduate with 15+ AP classes under their belt, and yet it seems that colleges are having a harder and harder time getting kids graduated in four years. Why is that?

I go to a pretty small school - so we don’t have too many. Plus, you can only take a maximum of 2 of them per year starting Junior Year - and the classes are capped at 15.

13 Total.

We have:
AP Biology (senior only)
AP Chemistry (junior or senior only)
AP Calculus BC (senior only)
AP Physics (senior only)

And my school has a pain in the butt policy that says you can’t take an AP exam at the school unless you’re taking the course.

We have 6 AP’s. If there wasn’t a grade restriction someone could take them all in one year. I think that is ridiculous, considering we have Landscaping 1 through Landscaping 5. And other ridiculous course such as “Advanced Math IV” which is basically Pre-Pre Calc but is required to even make it Pre-Calc!
