Which APs are the hardest?

Which AP exams are the hardest?

At my school (probably not the case at your school), it's calc bc, spanish, english literature (at least harder than language), and physics.

Of course, if you're good at the subject, it'll come easy for you. It's just that these courses generated the most moans after the students took the exam.

So far I have taken 9 exams.. so I think I can shed some light..
Rank From Hardest to Easiest that I've Taken

Stats - Just took

European History (Self Study) - 4

English Language and Composition - Just Took

United States Government - 4

Environmental Science - 4

Psychology (self study) - 4

World History - 5

Comparative Government (Self Study) - 4

Human Geography - Just Took

I had a slough of 4's last year for some reason.. but I think I was close to a 5 on a lot of those tests, and other ones I simple wasn't indepth enough in my essays..

I still have Bio, USH, Mac/Mic Econ coming up.. so I'll edit my list after I finish those..

Art History = difficult

Oh from my sister who has taken almost all of the same tests as I have, with the exception of a few, she said Art History was by far the hardest.

AP ENG LIT. You can't really study for it, and the time limit could drive you crazy!

uhhh..I just got raped by stats FR. yeah. ***.

so now I would rank that harder than chem, bc calc, apush, ap eng lang, & ap bio.

You guys got to be kidding me.

Physics C E + M followed by Physics C Mechanics. Nothing else even comes close.

Wow, I think AP English Literature is easy. Except for the MC, I'm doing really great in it, I guess it's 'cuz I have an amazing teacher. From what my friends have told me, AP Chemistry is the hardest, no one EVER passes at my school in that. I guess it all really depends on the teacher you have. I know AP Biology is hard as far as the class goes, but easy on the test since all the students in there were killed all year and the test is a breeze for them.

its Latin. by far

in my school 1 person has passed it out of 31 who took it last 2 years. pretty bad coming from msnbc's 16th best school in the country (Myers Park!!!!) . . .

hey how was the statistics exam?

For non-native speakers... the language AP's by far!!!

does anyone have any comment for the stat exam

stat was crazy, almost mind killing

a friend who made a 5 on Calculus AB told me that this years stat exam was the hardest test he's ever taken and he doubt's he'll break a 3.

the stats was killer this year

i got a 5 on bc...let me just say this: bc calc is easier than stat

Ask me again when I get my results back this summer...

i felt depressed after the test, sirously this test was messed up

Definitely one of the AP foreign language (Spanish, German). I guess AP Physics C is also hard, but it's not too difficult for me, my teacher has a Ph.D from UPENN, so his practice AP tests are damned easy since he was able to teach us valuable stuff all year. AP Physics and Biology are probably the most difficult because of unqualified teachers teaching them.

hm...was stats extra hard this year or something? I took it last year and i thought it was the easiest thing ever (and I barely paid attention in class).

By the way, I think the History APs and Psych are probably the easiest simply because you can learn all the information to get a 5 just by sitting down and reading a review book.
