Which APs are the hardest?

is bio really that hard? I'm thinking about either taking AP bio or AP chem next year, and I want to take the easier one because it'll be junior year and the jr yr APs are the only AP scores colleges will see...I don't care what I get senior yr

art history

So far I have taken 9 exams.. so I think I can shed some light..
Rank From Hardest to Easiest that I've Taken

Stats - Just took

European History (Self Study) - 4

Biology due to the ammount of material, not necessarily the depth of it -just took

English Language and Composition - Just Took

United States Government - 4

United States History

Environmental Science - 4

Psychology (self study) - 4

World History - 5

Comparative Government (Self Study) - 4

Human Geography - Just Took

Mac/Mic Econ coming up.. so I'll edit my list after I finish those..

lol my list after next year should be pretty comprehensive since I'll be adding; art history, chemistry, eng lit, computer science a, calculus ab, and physics b,

lol grad total of 19 test O_o

gov is easy if u have a good teacher... which i didn't have... it's a half year course and the lazy bum still only taught 9 out of 16 chapters. i didn't bother to study anyway, because my college doesnt award credit for it. calc AB, english Lit, and BIo were all pretty good, but i had good teachers for those.

AP exams or AP courses??? I believe that the hardest AP exam depends on your strengths and weaknesses... the hardest course depends on the teacher you have...

It's different for everyone, but the science APs tend to be pretty hard for a lot of people.

Bio is easy if you buy CLIFFS 2002 at the BEGINNING of the year. Some of it is pretty interesting and reading and understanding campbell's bio book can help you make USABO from what I've heard.

APs, from easiest to hardest...my own opinion:

APUSH
US Gov
Stats
Calc AB
Bio

From what I have taken/what people have told me, at my school, Chem. is by far the hardest, no one ever passes. All the others most people pass.

I just took my AP bio test yesterday...

It wasn't bad but it got really confusing in the end...
The essay questions were f**ked...
We expected 3 random questions & 1 lab..

It turned out to be 4 random questions.. no lab...

that messed up me =(

I must concur to that. Physics E&M is definitely the hardest one i took.

bio AP is pretty easy..

im thinking of taking comp sci next year....is comp sci A AP hard?

It may seem like alot but the Art History test this year was quite easy.

Comp Sci A is not if you have had cursory Java programming experience. Pick up the Barron's Book to review.

Personally, as by how the tests had gone for me, hardest to easiest:
English Lit.=US History
Physics B
Chemistry
Spanish
AB Calculus

From what is generally heard though, sciences (especially chemistry and phsyics), languages (for non-natives), the histories (which ask for too much), and lit (which can't be studied for plus is exceptionally and excessively subjective)

the hardest class is unarguably ap chem...omg i would shoot myself if i had to take it over and go through that **** again

AP tests, from hardest to easiest:

CalcAB

Micro

English Lang

Chem

It's not that I really found any of them that difficult, it's just that Calc and Micro are the only ones I could see myself getting enough wrong to get a 4 on.

Also, I believe that the AP foreign language exams are the heardes to do well on (for nonfluent speakers). People rarely get above a 3 on them at my school, where the average AP score is about a 4.4.

Anywho, I'm taking the following APs next year. Can anybody comment on their difficulties?

CalcBC
Physics C (no magnetism)
French Lang
Macro
English Lit

Hardest to easiest:

Macro

Micro

Psych

Bio

Not so coincidentally, this is also the list for what I'm least interested in to what I'm most interested in. So my ranking might just be due to a motivational problem.

Difficulty for me (hard to easy)

Bio

Spanish Literature, Calculus AB

English Language, US History

Spanish Language

Nothing was really close to Bio.

i think spainsh and fench lit is probably is hardest because first you must understand what you are reading then analyize it and then write that in spainsh or french certainly not easy
