Which APs do you consider the hardest? Easiest? Why?

Also what is your opinion on AP Economics and AP Spanish Language if you have taken them. Are the tests extremely hard? Are the course themselves hard?

In my school:

Hardest (Hardest being on top):

AP Physics E & M/Mechanics

AP United States History

AP Calculus AB/BC

AP Chemistry I & II

AP Statistics and Probability

AP Environmental Science

AP Psychology

AP European History

AP Spanish Language

Easiest (Easiest to medium-easy):

AP Human Geography

AP World History

AP Studio Art

AP Government

AP Economics Micro/Macro

AP Biology I & II

The rigor is different among schools. All AP courses have some sort of challenge to them.

As someone who is taking all three of the ap histories next year, I would like to know why you found ap euro and apush harder than ap world

^ this.

I found AP Computer Science to be the easiest.

There is no “hardest AP class.” Everyone thinks differently. Some people may be good at AP Physics. Some are terrible at it. Some people excel in AP Calculus. Some people don’t. What I’m trying to say is that everyone has their own perspective about things and how they interpret things. Find an AP course that you find interestng and dive into it.

AP World is just a really simple course because you don’t need to know much at all. All you really need to know are the very, very basics of each civilization or event. You do not really have to memorize dates at all. Not to mention half the questions on the exam are reading passages or interpreting pictures, both of which require pretty much no outside historical knowledge. DBQ is pretty much free points (although I believe APUSH and Euro have DBQs as well).

At My School:
AP Chem
AP Euro
AP Physics C
AP Bio
AP CALC BC
APUSH

Easy:
AP Psych
AP environmental

From my experience, the more difficult/rigorous courses have translated to the easiest and most passable exams. So even though AP Chem and AP World were easy to get an A in, the tests were more difficult for me than, say, AP Calc AB. The influence of the teacher is HUGE though.

In my school everyone who takes environmental gets a B. People who only take 1 or 2 Ap classes might get an A but they usually spend about 2 hours studying everyday for it lol. Next year im taking both US and world history. Im taking world hist online and yearlong while US is semester long in school. For those of you who have taken both, which class is considered to be harder?

At my school AP psych is the most popular because people believe it’s the easiest. it’s just a lot of notes and memorization. i’d say it’s the easiest.
Kids freak out about APUSH the most. AP bio here is very hard because of the teacher. AP chem is “easier” and AP physics is manageable
