Which are better choices?

I am an international applying for Physics major . I got 3.675 GPA (excluding General Paper) .ACT composite score of 29. Scholarships are big deal for me.Which two of followings would worth trying ?
*Uni of Maryland-college park
*Ohio state university
*University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign
*Indiana uni – Bloomington
*Uni of Minnesota-Twin cities

  • Uni of Colorado

If you are looking for need based aid for an international student…none of the schools you have listed really are a slam dunk.

None guarantee to meet full need for anyone…including international students. You would be laying the out of state cost of attendance at all of these.

If you are interested in merit aid, you ACT score really needs to be above 32 to be in contention at these schools. They are all state flagship universities and their merit awards would be competitive ones.

How much can your parents pay each year for 4 years?

Are you applying to any affordable colleges in your own country?

Madison85 They can contribute about $7000 per year. Physics programs not good and limited resources , so not applying to any colleges here.

The $7000 doesn’t even cover college living expenses for a year in the US.

You could apply to Florida A&M University and get a full ride + laptop since you’re a STEM major. Although, I’m not 100% sure if international students are eligible for this scholarship

You’re unlikely to even get into some of those schools, let alone get scholarships there. I’d follow @GreenTeaFanatic’s advice.
