I'm taking these next year:
AP Physics B
AP Government U.S.
AP Government Comparative
AP Biology
AP Computer Science A
AP French Language
AP English Language

Which of these APs are easy? Which are hard? Which can be easily self-studied for?

Gov't US, Gov't Comp and English Language are the most amenable for self-study. French Language, heck no, just as with any of the foreign language tests.

Personally, I would say that Physics B and Comp Sci A are the easiest to self-study, and US Government is possible especially if you already have some knowledge of American politics.

AP bio is not. one of the essays comes from one of the 12 ap bio labs, and you need to do those hands on in order to fully understand the labs, as well as the material in the course

If you have a solid background in non-calc-based physics already and you're good at physics, that one's a very manageable self-study. If your text analysis and essay writing skills are good, English language is a snap. If either of those is a subject that gives you trouble at all, self-studying isn't a good idea.

The ones on your list I found easy to self study were Biology, Comparative Government, and English Language. English Language was a breeze; I just got a list of literary terms and then did a couple of practice tests. For Comparative Government and Biology, I just read a book. Cliffs for AP Bio is plenty of preparation, laurstar07. Doing the labs is nice, but hardly necessary as long as you read a good description and understand the concepts being demonstrated.
